Cobourg Highland Games has postponed this year's Games until September 10th/11th.
Of course it is ultimately "the powers that be", who decide what will happen, but we are hopeful.
We have decided that our June date is no longer feasible, so with that in mind, we have booked Victoria Park for Friday, September 10 and, Saturday, September 11
To date at least 5 Highland Games have already been cancelled, Fergus, Glengarry, Caledonia, Georgetown, and Kingsville
We will be monitoring the situation, and hopefully we can have our Games. The Pipers and Pipe Band Society of Ontario, and others support our effort, but as we have said it is ultimately the decision of the Government.
