How to find the Cobourg Scottish Festival and Highland Games

Victoria Park

85 King Street East, Cobourg

Hwy #401 Exit #474 Division St., Follow Division St. South to King St., turn left on King St. one block.

Limited Handicap Parking is available next to Victoria Park at the base of McGill St., in the Centennial Pool Parking lot, also on McGill St., and in the McGill St. parking Lot, it is all metered parking. Must have Handicap permit

There is metered parking adjacent to Victoria Park and parking along the residential streets east and north of Victoria Park. The Town of Cobourg has made all parking around Victoria Park metered parking, at $5.00 per hour, to a maximium of $40.00 for the day. Fine for non-payment $160.00.

They have now made the area east of the Park, which was free parking, metered parking, at the above rates.

There is a cheaper alternative, a monthly parking pass is only $25.00

North of King Street there is free parking on the side streets.  Some local businesses usually let you park, for a fee, in their parking lot

You can also park for free at Donegan Park, about a 10 minute walk from the Highland Games.

See the above map for Donegan Park location

You can only park on the paved surface area, not on any grassy area. There are spaces for over 100 cars. After you park, head north a little to Perry St., and go west directly to Victoria Park

ByLaw enforcement officers are on patrol 7 days a week

If you would like to drop off passengers and chairs/gazebos before parking your car at Donegan Park, or elsewhere. Turn right off King St. East at McGill St. continue through the Centennial Pool Parking lot, keep to the left and enter the circle, drop off your passengers and equipment, then continue out of the parking area turning left onto Charles St
